In #The_Castle, Kafka writes:
"Of course, I'm ignorant, that's an unshaken truth and a sad truth for me, but it gives me all the advantage of ignorance, which is greater daring, and so I'm prepared to put up with my ignorance, evil consequences and all, for some time to come, so long as my strength holds out. But these consequences really affect nobody but myself, ..."
I came to this conclusion long ago but it's nice to read a confirmation from #Kafka!
