"Since I love a questionable analogy for LLMs Research Goblin is... well, it’s a goblin. It’s very industrious, not quite human and not entirely trustworthy. You have to be able to outwit it if you want to keep it gainfully employed."
RIP to my tomato and pepper plants. They survived last winter after I brought them inside, giving me a few tomatoes and peppers mid winter, but I'm moving and they're not going to be surviving that.
Random pro tip, pocket notebooks are really handy. They don't actually need to be kept in your pocket, if you regularly carry a backpack or purse/manbag you can toss it in there.
I use my phone for reminders/alarms, and Joplin for syncing long form notes and more reference sort of stuff, but a notebook feels more 'accessible' (for a lack of a better term) and it's easier to flip through a notebook of random stuff than to scroll through an unorganized notes app. For me, I also feel a little more mentally organized having things written out over being typed up. Life's been busy, and having one on hand seems to have helped preserve a bit of sanity.
