Apparently YouTube is now using #AI upscaling without telling anyone.
I'm beyond not okay with this for my own videos. This is not a specifically anti-AI stance. It's a pro-consent, wanna-make-my-own-creative-decisions stance. I'm on a very similar page to the excellent guitarist/YouTuber Rhett Shull about this.
I just saw SUCH a great show by @npub1deh3...p4la for the Radio Free Fedi Fest. I had heard his music before, but hearing him playing with guitar(s) only shone a light on what a great songwriter he is.

Long live Linux audio!
So I've finally set myself up to be living my best 100% Linux life. That's right: the last Microsoft account has been signed into in this house. Goodbye Xbox, goodbye Windows. Good riddance.
These two devices are the last ones I'll probably ever have that require me to sign in to a Microsoft account. Or surveil me while I'm just trying to write in a text file.
