I'm really getting tired of dealing with the bullshit at work. My wife has surgery in 2 days and I have been asking about using my available PTO to take a week away from work to help her out while she recovers. I either get no responses or end up listening to some stupid, unrelated bullshit. I don't give a flying fuck how much fun you had or what you did at camp. Literally feels like I've entered the twilight Zone the second I clock in.
I thought those "smart wallets" with the card ejectors was a bit gimmicky but I must say, I was mistaken. I hardly ever carry cash and it's super compact if you mostly carry cards. Plus, I now have something else in my pocket that I am able to fidget with in public, without getting weird looks. I call that a win.
Feed the beast.

I kinda dig that Open Farm pet food allows you to trace all of the ingredients they use right back to the farms they came from. It's smaller kibble as well, so Maeve isn't able to eat it as quickly and is forced to pace herself. 1 cup of the Pasture-Raised Lamb kibble and a handful of the freeze-dried raw lamb crumbled on top seems to be a hit. She has wheat as well as poultry allergies, so finding food she likes can be a bit of a headache.
