He himself said that they were at #war against the left, and the penalty for the #crime of qualified cowardice is #death by firing squad. Supporters of January 8 are citizens who were unjustly arrested for exercising their right to #freedom of #expression during a demonstration. When Bolsonaro was summoned to testify, he did not demand the release of the citizens arrested because of their expressions and even handed over to the Supreme Federal Court (STF) the records of all citizens who made any financial donation to him via PIX. In addition, Bolsonaro issued a decree that allows #Brazilians to purchase #firearms, but his #decree does not overturn Lula’s #law that #disarms the Brazilian population. I would rather be judged under a good law than by a good judge. I am Brazilian, and I know that in this country’s politics the judiciary means nothing. What really matters are personal connections—so much so that an illiterate person became president and even received an honorary doctorate. Brazil ranks roughly between 70th and 80th in the world for average IQ, which is a terrible position.
