My housemate's new housemates are confused. I won't use their preferred pronouns, but I'll help them fix cars and other stuff. So I'm a bad person because I'm not "respecting their reality", but I helped one of them avoid getting fired, so I'm a good person? But that can't be right because of the pronouns. Even though I helped build some shelves because I had the right tools.
