There's Character AI banning teens from its chatbots, OpenAI laying out (in great detail) what it's doing to make sure chatbots aren't so bad for mental health, and (short-sighted) political gamesmanship trying to pass laws banning chatbots for kids.
Wait. When did all the AI people switch from calling it "AGI" (for Artificial General Intelligence (a very silly term) to "Superintelligence" (an even sillier term)?
I know I'm more bullish on AI tech than many here, but "superintelligence" is just screaming out to be mocked at a word.
