But in the U.S., elected officials rule unconstitutionally. One-size-fits all from DC. In America, elections make an almost imperceptible difference. The policies of the Empire are set in stone. Elections just provide a false legitimacy, where the voters think they're steering a ship that they do not steer at all. I'm most interested in what a government can do, rather than how they get into power. Give me a politician or king that will: - Care about my country's well-being - NEVER steal my earnings, - NEVER destroy the currency - NEVER fight non-defensive wars - NEVER take away my God-given freedoms ...and I don't care if a politician or king is there for life! Right now, all of these things are violated in the bureaucratic EU, and the democratic U.S.

It's the "Golden Age" and hiring people is dropping like a stone?
