In the beginning, the Spirit hovered over the waters, bringing forth life and order from chaos. At Pentecost, He descended as tongues of fire upon the apostles, empowering them to speak in different languages and spread the Gospel to all nations. He is the comforter, the advocate, the source of wisdom and understanding. We worship the #HolySpirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. May His gifts of grace, truth, and love fill our hearts and guide our paths.

Isihie, a high-ranking soldier, confessed his faith openly when questioned by Emperor Maximian during a widespread persecution of Christians. Despite threats and temptations, he refused to deny Christ, declaring that earthly honors were meaningless compared to eternal life. Isihie was subjected to brutal tortures, yet remained steadfast in his belief. He was eventually drowned in a river, thus receiving the crown of martyrdom.
