I literally have no idea what I am doing, and in incorrectly coded save ram feature I added at the last minute so the console could save games, got misinterpreted by the compiler and made my build like 50% bigger, making it not fit on the target platform, I have spent all day trying to figure that out. not because verilog or quartus suck, but again because, no idea what I'm doing. but I'm learning through doing.
in a lot of ways getting a macbook has been more trouble than it's been worth, too many things need x86-64 and linux/windows. now I am messing with fpga and have to farm my builds off to one of my servers, and they're all old hardware with a ton of cores instead of a super fast core that is what Quartus needs for compilation
