What’s the nostr equivalent to primal for longer form writing?
Bubbling up this post I wrote a few months ago. You might notice that I put breathwork on par with Nostr and Bitcoin as it relates to potential for societal impact. I’m sure many of you will disagree with me. Please do. That’s why we’re here. I believe breathwork is revolutionary in that, like Nostr and Bitcoin, it’s a freedom tool. Connecting with our breath allows us to exit the matrix of suffering and small mindedness bred from chronic stress & fight or flight functioning. It serves as a vessel to unrealized expansiveness, creativity, and safety in our bodies. Breathwork created inside-out transformations. Although the science is sound, I often refer to it as magic. Without breathwork, I wouldn’t be on Nostr fighting for a healthier society. I would still be hiding from the world. That alone is enough to convince me of its power. View quoted note →
Aside from what Nostr has taught me about Bitcoin, I’m so fucking grateful to have been introduced to decentralized social media. Prior to being on @primal , I didn’t really talk about the things I care about on the internet. It felt counterintuitive and dishonest to talk about health on centralized platforms that consciously make us sick. I’m so thankful that Nostr has given me somewhere to start playing with my voice. It has given me hope and community. I’m wholly convinced of its ability to create a free, autonomous, creative, and connected global community. A healthier society. We just need to keep sparking our neighbors’ fires.
Hi! I just got back from a breathwork retreat in Hawaii and learned that @jackmallers shared the story of how I became a Bitcoiner through introducing me to @primal. Jack’s right, I’ve never been very interested in money (or at least I thought I wasn’t). What I am interested in is people, our integrated health, and the implications it has on collective society. Nostr helped me to understand Bitcoin not only as a superior monetary technology, but an unparalleled humanitarian tool. Here’s why I’m so bought in: - It’s been proven over and over that safety is the foundation of integrated health - Centralized unsound money = collective lack of safety - Decentralized sound money = collective safety - Collective safety = better integrated health & healthier society It’s really as simple as that for me. I’m grateful Jack shared my story because it perfectly illustrates how change happens. By making it matter to people in a way that sparks their fire. Jack is really good at that. My spark has been lit. I look forward to lighting my neighbor’s through honesty, connection, and freedom - three tenets of bitcoin that make me a believer. View quoted note →
The more you know…. I’m hell bent on bringing awareness to this Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. If roughly 2.3 million American women suffer from PMDD and the suicide rate of those with PMDD is 34%, that means an estimated 782,000 women are dying from this disorder annually. WHY ISN’T THIS BEING ADDRESSED???????? image
MDMA assisted therapy officially rejected by the FDA. I genuinely believe that directly correlated to many lives lost to PTSD and depression. Abolish the FDA. Start from scratch. What a joke.
With everything happening politically currently, it is clearly recognizable how blind many Americans are to the reality of the state of our government. Speaking psychologically, people in power are always going to strive to get more. Politicians no longer need the people to get it. They need us tired, sick, depressed, and unhealthy. The most recent FDA ruling against using MDMA therapy to treat PTSD is a clear as day example of this. The research on this drug is ASTOUNDING. Leading researchers noting that its outcome is “almost double that of existing medications”. Just ONE member of the FDA advisory committee had expertise in psychedelics. This member argued that the committee might have “misunderstood the aspects of the treatment” To that, isn’t the only logical reasonse is that those with decision making power should ensure that they understand the treatment. This shit makes me sooooo fucking angry. They understood. It’s threatening to the power the gov holds if people wake up and are healthy. Ughhhhhh ksskdkdj So much work to do

What if compassion is a side effect of curiosity?
Once you begin to really get to know yourself and value authenticity, it’s terribly difficult to engage with those who don’t. I try to remind myself that they are likely operating from a place of disingenuousness as a protective mechanism to avoid pain and/or rejection. The most “real” people I know have gone through times in their lives where they lost themselves completely and operated from a disconnected place (I include myself in this statement). Resilience is finding the strength to remember who you are again, in your own time, at your own pace.
