🇬🇧 House of Lords to debate UK crypto regulations today The House of Lords will today debate the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Cryptoassets) Regulations 2025 in Grand Committee, marking another key step in the UK’s proposed crypto regime. The statutory instrument, published by HM Treasury in December, was first debated last week in the Commons, where Economic Secretary Lucy Rigby set out the Government’s rationale for bringing crypto activities fully within the FSMA framework. ----- BBA is the Secretariat of the APPG on Blockchain Technologies. image
