Aaaaaaand... deleted the rant. Because after trying again under a Wayland session I couldn't trigger the error again. It all worked as it should. And as X11 is planed to be removed from KDE/Plasma in January, I won't complain now. (ok, THEN I shall rant, because right now Gamepad support simply isn't there in at least FS-UAE and, if there isn't another driver selectable, in Retroarch as well under Wayland)
Gawd, normally I do not complain about KDE / Plasma - most updates seem to be a win (no, I don't mention the disappeared global gamma settings here). But wtf did they do with the mouse and GTK Windows?! I have to work with Audacity Today - and every time I want to select something in an audio track, instead of selecting, it moves the whole track around. It has to do something with "click within a window to move it" I guess, but what is that nonsense if I have window bars on top just for this "moving around" thing? Switching between Wayland and X11 backends doesn't help. Have to fall back to XFCE4 (works fine over there) - thank you for nothing. For some reason it works fine in Tenacity (older base codebase) - now I don't even know who to blame here! Frustrating. Btw: Plasma 6.5.3 / KDE Framework 6.20.0 / QT 6.10.1 / Audacity 3.7.6 And: Despite all my rage: KDE/Plasma is da goat! I still luv it and it's devs like mad. Just don't like bad surprises. #kde #audacity
