The Trezors Are Finally Here! 🎉 A huge thank you to Trazor for these amazing devices! We truly appreciate this generous donation, which will give our students and community hands-on experience as part of our broader mission: #Bitcoin education and #Bitcoin self-custody—the ultimate human right to property. We didn’t just receive the Trezors—we’re also excited to announce our partnership with Trazor Academy for our Monthly #Bitcoin Meetups across different locations in Nairobi, starting this August. Our theme: “Bringing Bitcoin Education Closer to You.” We remain committed to creating Bitcoin awareness and building strong relationships with Bitcoin projects that help accelerate our ultimate goal: Mass Bitcoin adoption. Recap: First Session of the Bitcoin Sovereignty Program Yesterday, we had an amazing first session of BITCOIN SOVEREIGNTY extracurricular program! The session focused on #Bitcoin transactions and partially covered UTXO management. Attendees downloaded @Bloclstream Green Wallet ,enabled testnet, and conducted multiple transactions. @npub1337x...pkdt demonstrated how to manually select UTXOs for spending using Blockstream Green Wallet and Sparrow Wallet. It was fascinating to explore how transactions can be signed from Sparrow Wallet and broadcasted across different platforms like @mempool .or Bitcoin Core. Students shared their testnet receiving addresses, and D++ sent 1,000,000 sTEST to each participant. We’re excited for the next session, which will be a continuation of this topic! 🌟 Recap: #Bitcoin & Economics Guest Speaker Session Yesterday, we had an incredible session with @Huxley , who presented on Generation Wealth and the comparison between #Bitcoin’s properties and the traditional financial system. The discussion was highly engaging, with thought-provoking questions from Huxley on the properties of money and how students believe #Bitcoin will impact their regions. It was amazing to see the depth of responses, especially after covering seven chapters of the #Bitcoin Diploma by @My First Bitcoin A big thank you to Huxley for the insightful presentation and to @Felix for co-hosting the session! 🚀
