If you want real estate, the Prospect Hotel at Crater Lake in Oregon for $1.7 million, restored to historical society standards, with 10 bed and breakfast rooms and a 14 room hotel, would seem like a very good buy at first blush. I don't know how the business side of it might do, and there is a fire risk, but if you like throwing caution to the wind, the owners want to sell it.

Not only everything she said, but assuming "computing" far into the future is anything like the kiddie play systems we use is nuts. For all we know, a complex simulation half a billion years into the future can be generated by properly interacting a myriad of fields, perhaps driven by a computational element, but not directly being one. For all we know, we're tiny like "a galaxy on Orion's belt."
