@npub15a43...qd0c During fire season here, I make a list in exact order of what to do first to last, if tactically evacuated, and tape it on the inside of the door I will be leaving from. If I am woken at 3 AM, I know I will be disorientated and forget things so the list is the first go-to. And also, during those worst days, I keep halters on my 2 cats so I can catch them easier. If they know I am freaked out, they will be too and might hide somewhere. I keep my stocked up tent trailer hitched to the truck and a large dog crate in the back for my hens, already with food and water. I keep EDC kits in the vehicles too.
