The fact I can walk into an Apple Store, get a new battery for an iPhone SE 3—released in March 2022—and it’s now snappier than a new Android phone, that’s an indictment on non-Apple smartphones.

If you’re into KRPGs, this is a huge deal. Astonishia Story—the legendary 1994 DOS classic that helped define Korean RPGs—is getting a full remake. It looks stunning, a true revival of one of Korea’s all-time great games, and it’s set to release on December 18. But there’s one big catch: it’s not coming to Steam. In fact, you can’t buy it outside South Korea at all. The only way to get it is through the Korean PURPLE store or as a physical copy from a local retailer. I’ll be in South Korea this March… might just have to hunt down a copy myself.
