The loss of life in Texas floods is tragic, the stories and details of those children who were lost is heartbreaking. This was an 'act of God', tragic but seemingly unpreventable. I feel such sadness reading of that AND of the children killed in Gaza. Both are cases of needless loss of innocent life. However, in the case of Gaza I also feel anger. Anger that our government supports it, anger that people are silent, anger that people can somehow 'justify' the slaughter of innocent children. I understand the Texas loss is 'closer to home' and much more relatable to Americans (we luckily rarely feel any 'direct' cost of war), but for your souls & for the soul of this nation, think of the tens of thousands of children we helped kill and are still killing in Gaza. Feel that same pain that you feel for the loss of life in Texas for those lost in Gaza. Feel anger that it is being done 'in your name', using your hard work (via taxes), risking your security (via blowback) & your liberty (attacks on free speech & privacy). Do your part to make it stop. Contact your representatives in house & senate. Contact the White House. Sympathy for innocent children should be universal.
Today, as we celebrate our Independence Day I hope we honor those who risked so much for Liberty by recognizing how far our government falls short of their vision. The empire we built is destroying lives, here & abroad. The tyranny we enforce overseas is reflected back at us here at home. I hope we take steps to correct it now, while we still have a chance. If we don't fix it soon we will all pay a heavy price to refresh the Tree of Liberty.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, here in the States it is Memorial Day weekend, a day in which we are supposed to reflect on all those who lost their lives in “service to our country”. Understand, I put this in quotes, not to disparage or diminish their sacrifices, but to highlight the utter betrayal of “our” elected officials who so flippantly send us to war. I hope we here have a reflective memorial day, where we truly think on & honor the sacrifices that have been made. I hope that upon this reflection we move closer to a future with ‘Happy Memorial Days’ , where none of these sacrifices are recent & no more are lost in wars for foreign nations or global banks. Today is 'Holocaust Remembrance day', growing up we were told that we 'had to learn about it to ensure it never happens again'. Today we are watching the Final Solution of a Holocaust that began in 1948. The Zionists, many who fled the Nazi led Holocaust, used it, not as a horrific example of what must be avoided, but as a model for their oppression of Palestinians. The graphic below shows a brief summary of the similarities & the article provides additional evidence. Unlike the people alive in the 1930s and 1940s, we have watched this 'final solution' play out via live streams. We have seen the perpetrators tell us their genocidal intent time & time again. While we could believe some 'didn't know' in Nazi Germany, no one today can hide behind such a claim. When we look back and your kids ask 'what did you do' , how do you want to respond? Decide now because you won't be able to change it later. If you are still silent, do you think they will hide the shame they feel because of your inaction or will they show it openly? Now is the time to act, now is the time to demand our government's stop supporting this evil. Each minute this continues more innocent Palestinians are slaughtered. Remember, Never Again.
