When I think of the number of lives that were taken in Gaza in the most brutal ways, and of the Zionists’ delight in killing, I become certain that the blood of the oppressed will not be wasted and I am sure that God will claim their right. I will continue to raise my voice in testimony and loyalty to their souls, I pray for mercy for them and for the wounded to be healed, and I believe that divine justice and human conscience will move in their time. We must not forget or be complacent, we document, we tell their stories, we support them with words and deeds, and from their ruins we build determination and resilience. The memory of the free is enough to light the way, history will keep their names, and a day will come when the tyranny of oppression is erased and the dignity of the oppressed is restored.
