Another great episode between
@Simon Dixon and
@Jeff Booth . I love seeing great minds come together and battling out their thesis through conversation. I agree with Jeff Booth, it's really hard to imagine what a different system would look like, we simply pull what we know/understand from the current system and extrapolate it to anything new.
That's why I'm still open to the idea that #agorism , #anarcocapitalism , or whatever you want to call it, is indeed possible. Individuals and even nations engage in anarchic relationships every day. Anarchy isn't a geographical area, it's day to day interactions, I don't need a central force to speak to my neighbor or decide what I want to eat; some countries (i.e El Salvador, China, Russia, etc.) just do things without waiting for a world government to tell them what to do. #Bitcoin circular economies and coding are other great examples of anarchy in action. You can just do things without anyone else's permission.
With both #Bitcoin and #Nostr , for the first time in history, I think we have the tools to take back our individual freedoms, at least for those who are willing to. Fortunately, other tools are stemming from these 2 that facilitate freedom more than ever.
And even if it's not 100% achievable, I still think it is worth striving for, to get as close to it as possible. Anything less, and it's not a world I would want my children to grow up in. I will never settle for less, and as long as we have people who think AND act this way, there a will always be hope and the will to fight.
