Another zapvertising gem from @walker , I had no idea what was going on in Suriname, but this podcast gets me feeling bullish on Latin America. It's great to see all this experimentation going on with nation states, especially the push for less government, I'm curious about her UBI policy and how necessary she actually considers it (I didn't know Switzerland had it). Also, I'd like to know if she has any ideas on immigration programs, if Suriname turns things around it could attract a lot of capital and talented people. The oil factor is huge too, as well as developing the infrastructure for improving trade with neighbouring countries, there's so much potential here. I hope she wins the election next year, nonetheless, I think it's always important to remain critical of the state, even if they're full of bitcoiners, but hopefully bitcoin keeps them more honest. #hispano
Great episode for understanding the bureaucratic mess that is healthcare in the USA and how bitcoin + nostr can fix this. Private health insurance is much cheaper in Mexico compared to the USA but it's still out of reach for many Mexicans, most of us depend on public hospitals, which are broke, understaffed and full of corruption. But, paying in cash and upfront is very common in the private sector here, excluding surgeries. I'm hoping Mexicans docs realize accepting bitcoin is a must one day Follow and check out the amazing work of both @₿en Wehrman and @Jon Gordon
I can say zapvertising works @walker and I'm glad I listened to the podcast. I've known a little bit about grounding (I try to do it everyday while sun bathing) and the problems blue light causes, but after hearing this episode I decided to finally verify and bought some of those ambar lightbulbs that filter out blue light as well as some blue light filter glasses. I'll definitely be getting a daylight device as well, I hope they bring out a laptop soon!
