So I can add even MORE intermediaries between me and the person I am trying to send money to? So my money can be potentially taken due to malware with zero recourse? And to pay whom, exactly? Don't tell me "this crypto is more secure" either. As someone who's been doing #cybersecurity for 30 years, I know better.

Anyone ever see the Wayback Machine pull an archived version of a site that it previously had? @npub142ax...ccwa has some sort of assignment, which specified going to a specific date where a given site was archived. Her lab partner found it a few days earlier, but today: that archive date is no longer there. Yet another formerly decent organization founded in the days of the old Internet that's been ruined for reasons.
