I'm of course not the one who decides about what to do, but I don't trust it at all! Why would #Öcalan ask to dissolve the #PKK? (rhetorical question) Why should Öcalan, the DEM Party or any Kurd trust #Erdogan? (also a rhetorical question) The Turkish state is still targeting #Rojava and Iraqi #Kurdistan. #Kurds in (so called) Turkey are still second-class citizens. People who are celebrating this as some peace victory, are naive and should really know their history. I really do hope there is a good strategy behind this. To be continued.

Het is wel weer typisch dat liberalen de grote winst van de #AfD in de oostelijke deelstaten gebruiken om grappen te maken over of de Duitse hereniging beter niet had kunnen plaatsvinden. Dat de vele stemmen daar op de AfD een natuurverschijnsel is en geen aanwijsbare oorzaak heeft. Nee, het is het bewijs dat de neoliberale Bondsrepubliek de voormalige #DDR sterk heeft verwaarloosd. Dat vanaf de jaren negentig de neoliberale heilstaat belangrijker was dan de zorg voor de voormalig Oostduitsers. Dit is het resultaat van het #neoliberalisme of hoe je het ook wil noemen. Dit is net als de klimaatcrisis géén natuurverschijnsel.
