I feel like Threads is starting to become more mainstream than X if you’re looking at platform growth and looking at what an average user would want. Which is meh. I don’t like Zuck, but at the end of the day he’s not irrational like Musk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

here we go, Bluesky is being forced to apply age verification in the UK according to The Verge
theoretically this shouldn’t affect me since I’m in Jersey (CI), but you never know.. some tech apps/sites just set the Jersey settings to be the UK ones too…

i’ve read a few articles today about linda yaccarino leaving twitter, and yeah it’ll be interesting to see how this goes.. seems like brands came back to advertise ONLY because of her… well, she’s gone now, will the advertisers leave again??
what’s interesting about this graph that i keep seeing posted across socials is that my engagement suggests the opposite. i get most replies, etc.. on bluesky, most likes on threads and (when i used it more) had the least on twitter. i still feel like this isn’t fully accurate
