Too many men (and women) who criticize feminism, who say ‘not all men’, who think *they* are the exception… have never read any feminist literature, listened to other POVs of feminist and educated women…but they have strong opinions having only listened to misogyny & patriarchy that seems to profit them. It doesn’t - we all suffer bc of the patriarchy for lack of love.
🧵One of the biggest forms of #activism you can do is to get very informed about #feminism and the role of patriarchy and resist the #patriarchy in your own life. We aren’t addressing it bc it’s embedded in our homes. It’s in us, in things not yet deconstructed. It’s so close. The real enemy within. Setting boundaries is activism. Asking more from husbands, fathers, colleagues, clergy, is activism. Resisting doing it for them. Holding them to a higher standard…bc this is not love.
I also got to spread the word about Mastodon at the protests and even on the subway going home. The guy I was talking to was so interested in it, he missed his stop! And I almost missed mine! He really liked the no algorithm and portability of connections. #mastodon @npub1kxu2...9fca

Just wearing a mask, kn95 or better, shows me you have at least one of these fine and clearly rare qualities of wisdom, love, respect for your life and/or that of others, understanding of best practices, a desire to do what is right, that whether by intention or not, you are in solidarity with others. By making good choices for yourself, you also improve the world, avoiding harm. It shows me a respect for truth, life, love, & our connection. Art by me, free to use & share. #Solidarity #covid image
