While it's easy to understand why US people wear these, the fact that they are popular all over the world is interesting. Why are there NASA-themed clothes in European shops like H&M and Primark? Possible reasons: - First, the NASA logo is in the public domain. This means that anyone can use it without paying licensing fees. NASA makes it easier for everyone to use their brand. - mass-market appeal: retailers sell cheap clothes that many people buy because they are easy to get. Young people often wear band or branded apparel because it's trendy, and NASA fits this "cool" factor. - symbolism: NASA stands for technology, adventure, science and innovation, and many people support these things. You support the space programme.
