We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
The name is revealing. Anyone who criticized Kirk is now one of his murderers. They're claiming they'll turn this over to "federal officials." Meanwhile, Republicans just introduced a bill that 1A advocates say would empower Rubio to strip U.S. citizens of their passports over speech. RE:

Kirk didn't serve in the military or hold office. The war hero treatment -- half-mast flags, military guard, Air Force Two escort, calls for a statue at the Capitol or to lie in the Rotunda -- shows that for MAGA, service to Trump has become the highest, most honorable form of service.
