Silly TDS sufferers can't handle the president making an *obvious joke* about invading Chicago as if it were Vietnam as he vows to illegally send troops there, converts a nearby military base into a staging area, and regularly demeans the city and its residents.
Not crazy about this framing. Yes, point out that Trump's justification for NG troops is bullshit, that red states have higher crime rates, and that it's all dangerous posturing.
But deploying the military to Memphis would also be destructive and anti-democratic. And crime is dropping everywhere.
