Great sauna song by Sweden but I think it's too quirky to win. Also it had an accordion. Fun fact*: since the beginning of Eurovision at least two entries each year have featured accordions and none has ever won.
*totally invented, sorry
Without wishing to get embroiled in intra-Swiss linguistic politics, can someone explain to me why the Swiss entry who is herself from Basel is singing in French? Aren't there cantonal laws against this kind of thing?
As a Herne Hill resident who regularly uses Brockwell Park and has attended festivals there, my considered view is that this is a tricky issue with good points on both sides and the precise legal status of the park seems to be unhelpful in creating a mutually acceptable outcome. Hope that helps!
