CONTEXT: On December 1, 2025, a female employee was opening a business at 203 West Greens Road when she approached by a 33-year-old male with a gun. The male forced the female into the store where she managed to activate a silent alarm. An HPD officer responded to the alarm call and encountered the male suspect as he was exiting the business. The suspect was holding the clerk at gunpoint. As the suspect and the employee exited the business, an HPD officer shot the suspect multiple times. Houston Fire Department Paramedics transported the suspect to an area hospital, where he is in police custody. Charges are pending as the investigation continues. The female was not injured.
