It makes no sense to me that the Amazon app is so slow. Don't these guys run one of the largest cloud computing platforms in the world? mf loads like a wordpress site with fifty plugins

I have come to dread the web. The cookie notices. The pop ups. The randomly refreshng pages. The bullshit SEO fluff. The consistently garish layouts and themes. For a brief period I found Twitter to be a superior source of information but for a few years now it has been a real chore to slog through the web of shit. Ad blockers help a lot and they work well. I have multiple approaches to blocking ads and they are all excellent, hands-free, zero maintenance solutions. One thing I really wish worked better is reader mode. This is a true godsend when it works, but it's too manual a process. I want to see everything in reader mode all the time without a hint of the underlying crap.
