You’ve probably heard of “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” bc of her heroism on the Titanic, but there’s so much more to her story. Margaret Brown (her real name) fought for workers’ rights, women’s rights, education & even ran for the Senate - before women could vote. She established Titanic’s Survivor's Committee & helped erect the DC memorial. And yet, Brown wasn't allowed to participate in the congressional Titanic hearings simply bc she was a woman. #history

Well... School just started & 3 out of 30 children in my 5th grader's class have already tested positive for COVID. 😷 Be careful out there folks!

A few brief thoughts on Musk: 1/ #Twitter was never worth $44B. That’s just what he paid. 2/ The platform lost value bc most companies don’t want to advertise alongside bigotry, racism, misogyny, antisemitism, transphobia & hate speech. 3/ Twitter is over. Long live the #fediverse.
