We are not yet where we want to be, but it shows that we are moving in the right direction: Towards our Vision Zero goal of halving road deaths and serious injuries by 2030 and getting close to zero by 2050. At 45 deaths per million inhabitants, EU roads still remain among the safest in the world. Every life saved counts.
