It has now been one week since my "emboobening." After replacing the projectile vomit- and constipation-inducing opiate with Journavx, a new pain medication, things are going much smoother. The first two days of recovery were hell but
@๐๐ Jessica ๐๐ and my son were there to help me through it. Thank Dog I don't remember much of it.
I met with my surgeon briefly yesterday and she said, aside from some slight bruising on my abdomen and the sides of my chest (which she's not at all worried about), everything looks as expected and seems to be healing just fine. Movement and other restrictions are still in place so it's gonna be a dull next few weeks. Better play lots and lots of video games while I wait, right?
My supersized boobs are sitting "high and tight," as they say, but they should settle and "fluff" over the next three to six months. Until my sister reminded me, I didn't measure the girls until last night. Looks like I'm at least a D cup 'cause my band is still 36 inches and that new bust is now 40.5 inches. Woo hoo!
Anyway, Lisa has a new reason to smile when she looks in the mirror. Totally worth the pain, inconvenience and cost. Would recommend! ๐๐ฅฐ๐
