image Today I want to share a set of photographs a bit different from the usual ones because I took these photos on a night when I was not the main photographer, on this occasion I was hired for a wedding as an assistant by a friend who is also an excellent photographer! But as the passionate photographer that I am I obviously took my camera with me and I made a couple of photos in the moments we had free, in this publication I want to share the photos I took at night since the place and the view were very beautiful! image We were on a mountain a bit high and away from the city but the view was beautiful! This was where the wedding was held, in an open space, at night it did not look as beautiful as during the day but even so I took quite an interesting photo of it! image It was a small wedding and after the ceremony everyone went inside the main house of the event. image To one side there was a small light bulb illuminating a wooden bench in an interesting way. image A photo of my friends and coworkers walking towards the event hall. image We were in a very high area of the city so it was incredibly cold, the caretaker of the house knew it and unlike us he was definitely prepared. image The house was country style and had a very beautiful Christmas decoration, there was a door with lights and I used it to frame the following two photos. I thought it was very curious that one of the guests was wearing a hat. image Then I saw a large stone that had a hole and I used it to create this composition. image And I say goodbye with a portrait of my friend Henry, I caught him off guard hahah. image I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I hope you found the photos as interesting as I did and thanks for everything! #photography #photostr
I read that Maduro fell into a depressive episode, and the media ran headlines worldwide. They used all-caps, sensationalist titles, but the irony is that my depression in 2016, when I was starving, was apparently irrelevant to this story. It never appeared anywhere; no one wanted to speak for us or listen to us. I realize that we were the most silenced victims, condescendingly ignored by everyone, and now even looked down upon because of their ideological biases. And I want to write this because it never made a headline that I lost the best years of my life saying goodbye to my friends every week, why we grew up in a country without job opportunities or access to university studies to prepare ourselves professionally. Will the media ever tell the story and perspective of young people who never chose the tragedy of living in the misery of a socialist system that was profoundly impoverishing and devastating? A system that tore apart millions of Venezuelan families. You forced us to choose between staying and leaving. You divided us and condemned us to poverty in a cold and intentional way. In these 27 years, I saw my father, my brother, and me stand in line in the afternoon under the scorching sun, or in the early morning hours without being able to sleep, just so we could have food. I also saw how my father sacrificed himself, going without things he needed to feed us, because his salary wasn't enough, because you destroyed it, and took away his rights as a worker until he had to leave the country. Because no one will ever give me back my greatest treasure, nor my most beautiful days with my family, nor my youth that you stole from me, thinking day by day about how I had to survive, wondering when I would have to leave too, while I lived in slow motion, wondering how my dreams would turn out, without any glimmer of hope. Not even the oil they take will give me back that, nor all the riches will give me back what you took from me. So I hope you understand that I cannot feel empathy for the man who took everything from us, while becoming a millionaire, dancing on television, and publicly mocking everyone.
image Today I have the pleasure and the honor of showing you a photo session I did for a very beautiful girl, so much so that she is a participant in the beauty pageant of the city fair and let me tell you that she is very likely to win. For the first photos we wanted to do a flamenco theme, something associated with the fair and I started by taking a couple of full body photographs: Then we asked the girl to interact a bit with the flamenco shawl to take the following photos: And obviously I also took a close up portrait, seeking to give attention to her eyes: image Then the girl changed her dress to have more variety in the photos, we started with a full body photo as usual: image The girl liked this dress more and she felt much more comfortable in it so these photos flowed with better vibes, we took a couple of photos with the girl sitting down: And I made sure to also include a couple of close up photos, we varied the poses between each shot: And at this point the girl changed her dress again to take the final photos: I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm lens and two lights. At the end of the photo session the girl, her team and I were super happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do!! #photography #photostr
