I want to share a set of nature photographs that I took a few days ago on a walk to a pine forest in my city, that day I did an activity and I took hundreds of photographs but I feel that these nature landscape photos are so beautiful that they deserve to have their own publication to give them the attention they deserve! To get to the pine forest you have to hike for approximately 45 minutes, at the beginning the road has a highway but it ends at a certain point and you have to follow literally through the mountain surrounded by nature and a green full of life. When I do street photography I go through the city taking photos of everything that catches my attention and then I like to group the photos by themes so when I have enough photos I can make a publication about that. In this case I wanted to talk and show these fruit and vegetable markets that can be found throughout the city and the most interesting thing was to discover that although this is very common here maybe in other parts of the world it is not so common. Here you can see small stores called bodegas full of natural colors fruits and vegetables that are 100 percent organic and usually have cheap prices from 0.50 dollars up to a maximum of 2 dollars per kilogram. And this practice is not only reserved for formal commercial establishments it is also very common to see informal vendors selling fruits and vegetables in the streets whether in a car motorcycle or even dragging a cart with their own strength. The following photo is of a man who by his appearance you can tell that he himself planted and harvested the things he was selling in front of his house. There are also certain points in the city where informal trade took part of the sidewalk to set up its vegetable sale and although this is illegal I must say that they relieve the pockets of Venezuelans a bit since in these places they sell very cheap. Today I am back with a new set of photographs of the fair in my city, on this occasion I went to the national team penning competition, an activity that among many others takes place at the fair. For those who do not know what this competition is about (I did not know it) basically a team of three riders must organize and lock up 3 cows of the same number (said by the judge at random) in a pen in less than 45 seconds and the team that does it in less time wins. That was the most basic explanation possible but obviously within that sport there are thousands of strategies and plays to be more efficient. For my part I was watching from the bleachers and taking photographs with a zoom lens. It is worth noting that all these people have many years riding horses and at this point they are practically an extension of their own body. Reflecting I realized that in comparison to other sports this one is very difficult since animals in general tend to be unpredictable and here you are dealing with two at the same time and any type of anticipation sometimes can result in something totally different. ) The truth was quite interesting to watch and I enjoyed it a lot plus I was able to take some very good photos! Ahhh and another thing I found it very curious that there is a rule that says that all riders must wear a hat and if it falls off they have a score penalty!
