DNA alpha helix model. I'm starting to understand better how to print more efficiently now and when it comes to multicolour prints its best to separately print each colour component, if it's all in one go it will take all night. image #3dprinting
Here is a bacteriophage virus model (model by Jpxfrd on printables.com) My wife needs some models for a kids science day visit at her work (she works in a biotechnology lab). The T4 bacteriophage is in my opinion the coolest looking virus, it looks like a spider or like Rocky from Project Hail Mary. The T4 phage is used as a vector in cloning and biotech recombination methods. Medical research has also taken an intrest in the phage to use as "antibiotic" because it targets bacteria. #3dprinting image
My first 3D print. Not my design, by Stigern on Printables.com. Garden Gnome Sniper painted. I gave it to my friend for his birthday. #3Dprinting image
I finally got a 3D printer. I have wanted one for probably 3 years now. This is one of the cheaper ones but good to get started and it looks decent. I plan to use this printer for prototyping and building parts for a model RC glider plane I'm working on. Lots of things here are new to me but I learn best by doing. #3dprinting image
