Exceptional meetup last night.
Our most popular to date at a place that now accepts Bitcoin!
Lots of new faces, great conversation and outstanding food.
Preston meetup keeps getting stronger, can't wait to see where it goes from here 🙌
Another venue announced ✅
Thanks to our friend Tanner (again), Fat Sam's Bar & Grill in Leyland is now accepting Bitcoin.
If you've confirmed you're attending our meetup this Thursday you can come along and grab food & drinks with sats ⚡️💥
Reynolds Butchers in Parbold is now accepting Bitcoin at point of sale! 🥩⚡️
Go visit them in person and have a chat with the amazing couple that run this butchers!
Needless to say they have a high emphasis on providing quality goods, reflected by their all 5* reviews on google maps.
Everything in the shop is handmade and meat always sourced from local farms.
I know it's the algorithm feeding me things I've already watched but I'm quite enthused about how things seems to be shifting towards healthier lifestyles.
Lots of reels on instagram of proper nutrition, novices starting their running journey & people generally finding healthier habits instead of drinking.
When it can be so easy to be negative I see this as a trend in the right direction.
Long may it last 💥
Open twitter and it's just Bitcoiners taking the bait and having a whinge at the latest psyop/statist.
Open nostr and there's a thread of a homesteader showing his rocket mass heater setup.
These platforms are not the same.
Beef for Bitcoin from a local, soon to be, Bitcoin Butchers.
Acquired some fat for making tallow finally!
Of course I tipped so they threw in a ribeye for good measure 🤩
The benefit of having Bitcoiners coming to your meetups that own a Butchers! 😁
While most everyone else gets duped by the latest psyop or loses their mind over an ETF, I'm unbothered, focused, in my lane, flourishing 😂
This is the 6th successive year in a row of garlic, using cloves from the previous year's harvest.
How about instead of investing your time in something you can't control, you plant some garlic instead?
Plant individual cloves between now and the 1st week of December, a couple cm's below soil surface, 10cm apart, in rows 35cm apart.
Cover from birds for first few weeks, then leave uncovered and let them grow until about July when it's time for harvest.
Doesn't get much easier that that 😎
Our next meetup will be Wednesday 18th from 6.30pm, again at The Orchard in Preston Market
📅 Wednesday 18th October
🕡 From 6.30pm
I will also be bringing items from BitPLATES & GoodiesPleb to show off/giveaway 🙌
