Opt out of fiat; switch to Bitcoin. Not to end all fiat, but to keep it out of your life. Opt out of Core; switch to Knots. Not to end all spam, but to keep it out of your mempool. If enough of us opt out, then fiat/spam will die, but that's knot the point. It never was. image
Today is my 3rd son's 15th birthday. My wife made this card (I forgot she even knew about the sats symbol! 🤯), & I sent him 10k sats just as he pulled this card out of the envelope. His Lightning Address is joshua@coinos.io. In case you'd also like to gift him any sats. 🧡
Pre-1971, the Fed could print money, but only when a precedent made it palatable for the public (e.g.: war, after propaganda). But then Nixon removed that filter, which didn't work anyway, and the rest is history. Do we really want the equivalent of that for spam in Bitcoin?
GM. Today is my last day of being 39. Others at this age: "Oh, no! Tomorrow I'll be 'old'!" Me: "So *this* is how long the Tribes of Israel wandered in the wilderness..." Tomorrow I'll be 40. Bring it on.
Walking is now my 1-year-old's preferred mode of transportation. He is officially a toddler. That makes him a toddler hodler (which rhyme, to me).
$21 stamped and ready to go back into circulation! Thanks, @UNCLE ROCKSTAR! image #BitcoinCircularEconomiesSummit #ElZonte
I'm SO excited for the Bitcoin Beach Circular Economy Summit next week in #ElZonte, right before the Plan ₿ Forum in #SanSalvador! I'll be speaking there about @Satlantis: Social Events , and how we can use it to supercharge all our efforts in building, maintaining, and improving Bitcoin circular economies. If you're going to be there, then let's meet up! 🧡 image
