But I'll share it anyway, particularly because that quote from Time editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs is so batshit crazy. It explains a lot. 😂

The website for Time magazine now features a big AI chatbox that can't be closed and won't go away, blocking even its main headlines.
The worst bait'n'switch in modern history: “You won't be replaced by AI, you'll be replaced by someone else who uses AI.” …a few months later… (in faux-French SpongeBob SquarePants card voice) “We are replacing you with AI.” 🫠
I think it’s good to refer back to what CEOs were saying at the beginning of this year, and evaluating if anything they said was tethered to reality. 🤡 Marc Benioff in January: “From this point forward…we will be managing not only human workers but also digital workers.”
