frieren already a 8/10 for finally having a plot around demons that is finally "these things are fucking evil and you have to kill every single one of them" and not "oh the poor demons aren't evil just forced to be by tragic circumstances"
If the Spanish civil war is anything to go by, moderates and 'responsible' conservatives will side with anarchists, communists, and jews over the 'scary, evil' fascists. Even if said communists are burning churches and executing priests in the streets.
