I very much enjoy reading le Carré's books. But it takes me ages. I don't know why. I can never read much at a time. Maybe it's just because I'm not very smart, I don't know. Whatever it is, I cannot zip through them. It's like going on a very muddy hike. Consequently I always save them until I'm off work. Even that doesn't seem to help, though. I started reading The Constant Gardener on Monday and I'm barely 200 pages in. But I do enjoy the books!
