At the Milano Cortina A Human Color Wheel
Winter Olympics opening ceremony is aesthetically stunning.
Primary colors create a rainbow.
The ceremony showcased world-renowned performers such as Mariah Carey, Laura Pausini, Andrea Bocelli, Ghali, Lang Lang, and actors Pierfrancesco Favino and Sabrina Impacciatore. For the first time in Olympic history, two Olympic cauldrons were lit simultaneously — one at Arco della Pace in Milan and the other in Piazza Dibona in Cortina d'Ampezzo — symbolizing the distributed nature of the Games across Italy’s northern regions.
Over 1,300 cast members from 27 countries participated, supported by more than 950 staff, with elaborate costumes, stage designs, and a custom-composed musical score. The Parade of Nations followed tradition with Greece entering first, Italy last, and the U.S. and France preceding the host nation as future hosts of the 2034 and 2030 Winter Olympics, respectively.
