Age verification is only the latest step towards dismantling online privacy in a crusade corporations and governments alike have been leading for 15+ years:
The reason I like TV shows is because the format forces writers to not have incredibly lazy pacing. You can have an overarching story throughout the series, but at least each episode will have *something* that wraps up in a reasonable amount of time.
So anyways, if Netflix lets Stranger Things make 90-120 (!!) minute episodes, what is even the fucking point?
Buying a Framework laptop is already primarily a political decision; not a financial one, and certainly not because of their hardware specs lol
So uh… yikes:
I don't know who needs to hear this, and it seems like the future of the Affinity suite by Serif is in question right now, but just so you know:
You can download Affinity Photo, Illustrator, and Publisher v2 from the iPadOS App Store right now, and the in-app purchase for a license is set to $0. Maybe accidental, idk lol
I'm not sure if the desktop versions can be purchased anymore unfortunately, but if you have an iPad now's the time to download v2 before Canva releases a probably-shittier v3. go go go

I have been reading about.flipboard.com and I don't understand what #Flipboard is actually supposed to be.
They don't seem to actually onboard new publishers? RSS feeds only work in mobile and not on their website? I swear magazines used to have an RSS option in settings that now is nowhere to be seen?
I just found out they have a new web browser, except maybe it's an app and not a browser at all?
@Mike McCue please help explain how I am supposed to use your website 😭
