I had some *really* bad shit happen to me as a child. Here’s an incomplete list of things those experiences didn’t make me do:
1. Shoot up a university
2. March in a nazi parade
3. Abuse other people
4. Harm anyone at all and blame it on the abuse/weirdness I endured as a child
Winston attended his first Paws In The Park and got to socialize with other dogs! He did really well, and made a new buddy in Murphy, our friends’ Goldendoodle.
This morning’s (added last-minute) assignment has prompted me to pose a question to you, my mastodon besties. I’ll pose the scenario and then a poll with the choices of how to deal with the issue.
You have a granddaughter Jill, and your granddaughter has a best friend, Sarah. It comes to your attention that Sarah’s mom doesn’t have enough money to provide clothes for Sarah and her siblings for Christmas. You offer a lot of new clothing to Sarah’s mom and agree to a price of $150, paid when the mom can.
Over time, it becomes apparent that Sarah’s mom struggles financially and is having a great deal of trouble paying for the clothes. In fact, she’s only paid $20 back after more than a year has passed.
