𤯠Wow, if there ever was a Proverb that speaks to our š¤„šcorrupt monetary system it is this oneā¦
āThe uncultivated field of the poor yields abundantĀ food, but without justice, itĀ is sweptĀ away.ā
āāProverbs⬠ā13ā¬:ā23⬠āCSBā¬ā¬
Basically, the š± āuncultivated fieldā represents the humble or meager means of the poor that could produce a harvest š¾ for them and help them change their lot in life.
In fact, some commentators suggest that this is a reference to the productive potential of Godās creation, š available to anyone.
āļøš” However, injustice (corrupt economic/monetary policy) sweeps away that potential, frustrating the efforts of the poor and keeping them subjugated.
Today, our corrupt monetary šøsystem does the same. Inflation, debt-based currency, and unjust weights & measures āļø rob the poor of their harvest before they can enjoy it. Wages donāt keep up. Savings are eroded. Opportunity is stifled.
The tragedy isnāt lack of resources ā itās injustice distorting Godās design.
šļø Christians are called to build enterprises that resist this corruption ā creating value, honoringš«” just exchange, and unleashing abundance for families and communities.
š What would it look like if we stewarded money and business in line with Godās justice instead of manās manipulation?
