Love how we have imported the intersexual online arguments about genders and their dynamics from legacy social media into Nostr Bruh… 🤣
Brave this, Brave that, uBlock this, uBlock, that but I still get raped by airlines that know what condiment I added to my chicken broth last night. #askNostr
“Only boring people get bored” is a statement that got imprinted in my psyche the second I heard it. And now I cannot un-see it in real life.
I agree 90 % with this advice. The internet is a tool; you either earn or learn, or you are wasting your time. There’s no argument in favour of keeping TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any of the likes. Let’s go ahead and claim that you use them to learn. Unless posts are giving you new insights and you are further researching about the topic on your own, all you’re doing mindlessly scrolling for dopamine. And unless you are using the knowledge to take action, you are, again, doing it for the dopamine. Real learning doesn’t come from consuming short-format content. LinkedIn though… Great for expanding your professional network, business, etc. Now, someone will argue that there are a thousand ways to expand your professional network. Sure, I agree. My approach to health and longevity: - “I heard that so and so started drinking seaweed juice and improved his health” + “what does it taste like?” Vs. + “what other drinks are good for your body and why?” 1. If you want it to taste or taste pleasant go eat cookies. 2. Willing to drink battery acid if it works The second one is my approach. #nostr #healthstr

Tech engineer at my 9 to 5 job when seeing Brave browser: “what is Brave?” 💀
I am upset that I have had to return to conventional toothpaste usage. A friend of mine, who’s a dentist, told me that at a granular level, baking soda is made up of tons of tiny crystals. Apparently, those crystals scratch the outer surface of your teeth: the enamel. Apparently also, enamel doesn’t regenerate, or, at least, not fast / fully. Therefore, once that layer erodes, your teeth feels coarse. So, yes, baking soda whitens your teeth because the crystals are more effective at scratching than the toothbrush, although at the expense of ruining your enamel. If anyone knows of a home made (if natural even better) solution, I would be rather happy to listen to it. #plebchain #asknostr #plebstr #healthstr View quoted note →
