Who popularized sunglasses? The original Hollywood movie stars (1920s) and fighter pilots (1930s). Movie stars needed “sunglasses” to block the bright artificial lights on set. Pilots needed sunglasses bc light is different when ur in the sky. It makes sense why regular ppl wanna be like a movie star and wear shades. 😎 But the fact that ophthalmologists aren’t making any noise about possible problems due to everyone wearing sunglasses is concerning/on brand. 🤔
