when we awaken in the morning we need to set our goal — peace or conflict — and see the day’s events as serving our decision.
there are two reasons alone for anything that seems to happen here: to keep us asleep or help us awaken.

Fear is of our own imagining—you would laugh if you knew how weak, little and meaningless it is. Fear is like a frightened mouse that would attack the universe. This is not to invalidate people’s fears—they can seem quite powerful and intense—and overcoming those fears is not only possible but necessary. Remember fear’s weakness in light of your immense strength.
I told my college students today they ought to commit to no more half-measures in their lives. Commit and go all the way or dont bother trying. What i was really doing is talking to myself. Ive been living my life in half-measures & i decided im over it. no more half-measures.
