Here's a really useful tip.
If you have an issue with Verizon, go to one of the Verizon stores and have them call support. When a store calls support they get connected to support people that support the stores. These people have way more access to systems, and ability to do things on their own. If you call the regular VZ support number, you just get dumped into a call center in Mumbai and talk to people who have very little ability to do anything other than pacify you.
I remember thinking paying $5 for a beer at a bar was a lot of money. Now a beer at a shitty bar in a strip mall is $11.
It would be fine if I made $350,000 a year, but that isn't a thing.
